The game tells a sci-fi story about the launch of artificial intelligence into space together with its (or rather, its) creators. Multiple references to the Soviet Union available. Spoiler-free review.
Two Soviet scientists, on instructions from the party and government, are sent to the space station along with the artificial intelligence they developed named Zarya. The goal is to train AI for the benefit of the Soviet Motherland. Start completing the task immediately!
We will play as one of the creators of AI. For some reason our heroine’s name is Laska. And her ex-husband and, concurrently, Zari’s co-author – Mikhail. Weasel wakes up in some kind of capsule and begins to explore the station.
There is obvious chaos everywhere, and Zarya is behaving strangely. Making matters worse is Mikhail’s heart-rending call for help. There’s clearly something dark going on here. But what exactly? This is what we have to figure out.
The plot of the game unfolds very well. So I won’t spoil it. I can only say that the story is very interesting, although small in volume.
First of all, we try to understand what is going on here. Let’s get acquainted with Zarya, find out the capabilities of our character. We will need squats to crawl into low passages and running to do this more quickly.
The whole game comes down to sequential exploration of the station premises. Some of them are very colorful. I don’t want to ruin any surprises, it will be interesting.
Our partner will tell you https://sistersitescasino.co.uk/casinos/nyspins-casino/ that something is wrong with Zarya. But it’s already clear. So now we are trying to somehow get out of this whole story.
The most interesting thing is to examine the local architecture. Lots of references to the Soviet era. Here you have Belka with Strelka and Gagarin and punch cards. There is something to admire.
Very well chosen sound and music. All the way there was a feeling of danger and some kind of surrealism of what was happening. At the same time, we managed to do without cheap screamers and darkness (it was in the demo, but it was removed, thank you).
In addition to the main plot, the game has a number of all sorts of cool achievements and secrets. For example, you need to find all the coins, and then put them to good use or discover some interesting object. After going through it, I found something exactly like this on one of the screenshots, but in the game I ran past it. In general, you need to keep your eyes peeled here.
Not without a small bug. When I was climbing through the local ventilation, the textures of one hatch became glitchy.
I really liked the game. It’s a pity that it ended very quickly. Nevertheless, I got a lot of cool impressions in a short time. I was especially pleased with the plot and overall impression of immersing myself in an old school sci-fi story.
I also can’t help but note that the game has changed a lot for the better since the demo version. The developers overcame almost all the shortcomings identified then.
👍 Excellent music and sound accompaniment.
👍 Short but strong story.
👍 Good station architecture.
👍 Full Russian localization, text and voice acting.
😐 The game is very short. It’s easy to walk through in an hour and explore everything normally.
😐 Is there some kind of predetermination in the plot or something?. I found only one way to win. And the options are not particularly visible. Perhaps there are some secret ways to finish the game.
😐 The game has voiced swearing. It’s very out of place, but keep in mind in terms of playing together with small children, for example.
